Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to my Team in Training site. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. I joined up with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and train to complete my first running marathon.
Mission Accomplished!
On January 15, 2006 I completed the PF Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Marathon in Phoenix AZ. I finished in 5:48:41, just slightly over 5 hours... For photos and more info, view my AZ Marathon page. While doing so, I raised $5655.00 for LLS, far exceeding my original goal
Thank you all who have supported me along the way. I couldn't have made these accomplishments alone. Below are some updates on my honored Teammates, Mike & Noah.
May God Bless You All,
Joe Kagerer

A note from Mike:
To all of the people that have helped me out through monetary contributions, cards and prayers, gifts and phone calls, I say Thanks a Million, I appreciate it all. For those of you that wonder how I'm doing, I am still receiving chemotherapy and taking things day by day. hoping for remission from the disease, I'm still working and trying to remain active.
Thanks again, Mike

Noah L. Wehner - Our Honored Hero
Each team that participates has an honored hero. Our hero is Noah Wehner of San Juan Capistrano, CA. Noah is now 5 years old and has ALL, Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia with abnormal cytogenetics.
I spoke with Noah's father in the airport after the Marathon. Noah is in remission and in a maintainance program for the next 2 1/2 years.
